Silk Stevens was the prime consultant for major upgrades to a recirculating aquaculture system (RAS) for a fish hatchery in Calgary, Alberta. The design-bid-build project involved the coordination of a multi-disciplinary team including aquaculture, civil, mechanical, electrical, and structural components. The upgrade required the design of a new RAS to meet the best and current industry standards. The multi-disciplinary team delivered a project including preliminary design, detailed design, tendering, and construction contract administration. Silk Stevens Limited managed the projects through all phases including the team of sub consultants.
